Lee Bember, 30, of Bridgeport, was arrested around 9 p.m. Sunday, March 25, when officers were dispatched to the gas station and found him parked in the lot, Westport Police said.
According to police, Bember, who also had an outstanding warrant from Trumbull, had taken an employee's cell phone off the counter the day before and called his own. Since that time, he kept coming to the business after repeated verbal statements and texts to stay away and leave.
He was taken into custody and transported to headquarters where officers located a bullet in his coat pocket.
He was arrested and charged with trespassing and criminal possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
Bember posted a $1,000 bond and released to the Trumbull Police Department on the outstanding warrant. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 9.
